Many things are said in Latin to hid their meaning. The motto of the state of Michigan, for example, translates (roughly) to: "If you seek a beautiful peninsula, look to Florida" ;-)
Too, many would think that because I teach programming and such, I know all about computers. Statement false. This is my first blog, for example. And I don't speak HTML (and with any luck, never will). I had a student create my website, and any changes I need to make to it, I simply see what the code looks like, and tweak it.
